What is IEC?
The International Eucharistic Congress (IEC), the first time ever taking place in 1881 in Lille, France, and since then celebrated about every four years, will come to its 51st in 2016 in Cebu, Philippines. The IEC aims at promoting an awareness of the central place of the Eucharist in the life and mission of the Catholic Church. This year, the great theme allows us to reflect upon this: “Christ in You, the Hope of Glory. The Eucharist, Source and Goal of the Mission”
Today, however, there is a shortage of hope in the world as perhaps never before in history. Thus humankind needs to hear the message of hope in Christ Jesus. The Church must proclaim this message today with renewed ardor, using new methods and expressions. With a “new evangelization” the Church must seek to bring this message of hope to all, but especially to those “who, though baptized, have drifted away from the Church and live without reference to the Christian life.”
國際聖體大會，從1881年法國里爾第一屆開始，大約每4年一屆，到2016年第51屆菲律賓宿霧市，一直為教會源源不絕地注入熱愛聖體的力量。 聖體大會大力使聖體回歸到教會生命和宗徒使命的中心，而今屆主題使我們默想：「基督在你們中，作了你們得光榮的希望。聖體聖事：教會使命的泉源與終向」。
今天的世界缺少了希望，這或許是歷史上前所未見的。因此，人類需要聽到我們在基督耶穌內的希望訊息。今日的教會必須重新點燃她的熱忱，以新的方法與表達方式,去宣講這個喜訊。憑著「新福傳」，教會必須致力把這個希望的訊息帶給所有人，尤其是那些「雖然受過洗禮，但與教會疏遠，未履行基督徒信仰生活的人」。
Why IEC?
The Congress is intended to serve the entire People of God in its pilgrimage in history. It is a great ecclesial event at which, through experiences of celebration, teaching, and fellowship, the Church all over the world will be reminded that the Eucharist is the “source and summit” of her life and action. The Eucharist will be held out in a particularly clear way as the constantly renewed and abiding presence of the Paschal Mystery which is the “eschatological event” par excellence in the whole Church’s worship and life.
大會決意要為踏上歷史性的朝聖旅程的 全體天主子民服務。它是一項重大的教會盛事，透過慶典、教導和友誼交流的經驗，提醒全球教會聖體聖事是其生命和行動的「泉源與高峰」。聖體聖事將以一種特別明確的方式，體現不斷更新且持續臨在的巴斯卦奧蹟；而這奧蹟正是整體教會崇敬和生活最卓越的「末世性事件」。

TOUCH, together with the co-organizer Eucharistic Oblate for the Vulnerable, are blessed to organize 2 tours from Hong Kong to participate in the 51st International Eucharistic Congress in Cebu, Philippines, and we welcome all Catholics brothers and sisters who share the same Eucharistic devotion to join us together. We will fully participate in the congress activities, together with some tailor-made experiences and formation just for our delegation. For the official programme, please download here.
The only objective of the tour is to enhance our deeper devotion towards the Eucharist through a series of IEC activities. Throughout the tour, majority of the time will be spent around inspiring talks, great devotions and sacraments. We will do all that we can to create a prayerful ambience for our participants. For this reason, there will be no sightseeing activities.
TOUCH，聯同協辦的傷健聖體御侍團，有幸組織香港教友前往菲律賓宿霧參加第51屆國際聖體大會，並歡迎所有敬愛聖體的主內兄弟姐妹一起參加。除了全程參與大會活動，我們將還會量身定制一些我們的自己的培育活動及體驗。有關大會日程，請按此下載。
本團唯一目的是讓參加者透過聖體大會的一系列培育活動增加對聖體的敬愛。行程以聖事，培育及祈禱為主，並竭盡所能營造濃厚祈禱氣氛，因此也謝絕一切觀光活動，敬請留意。

This is a pilgrimage. We go to seek the Lord, and we are very serious about this. There will be no sightseeing or entertainment activities. We ask all participants to share the same pilgrimage spirit.
本團乃朝聖團，目的是尋求天主，而我們以十分認真的態度對待此目的。因此本團謝絕一切觀光娛樂活動，並要求參加者以同樣的心情態度參加此團。

The sole purpose of the trip is to increase our love for the Eucharist through the activities of the International Eucharistic Congress. Majority of the time will be spent following the Congress programme.
本團唯一目的是讓參加者透過聖體大會增加對聖體的敬愛。行程大部份時間將參與大會活動。

Our priority remains at creating a prayerful and Eucharistic-centered ambience for all pilgrims to encounter the Lord – through sacraments, prayers and formation activities. Adoration room will be set up at hotel in the evening to facilitate the right religious ambience.
我們的重點在於為朝聖者營造濃厚的祈禱氣氛。行程以聖事，培育及祈禱為主。我們將在下榻的酒店設立朝拜聖體室方便教友在夜間祈禱。

Other than the Congress formation activities, we may also arrange our own formation activities, as well as visits to local religious communities.
除了大會活動，我們也會在空餘時間安排本團的培育活動，亦會安排參觀其他本地宗教團體。

In love with the Eucharist
This encounter with Christ in the Eucharist can be source of hope for the world when, transformed through the power of the Holy Spirit into the likeness of Him whom we encounter, we set out on a mission to transform the world with our zeal to bring to those who need most the same acceptance, forgiveness, healing, love, and wholeness that we ourselves received and experienced.
與基督在聖體聖事內的相遇，將成為世界的希望泉源，聖神的轉化能力使我們肖似基督，然後以熱忱展開轉化世界的使命，將我們所領受和經驗過的接納、寬恕、治癒、愛及圓滿生命，帶給那些同樣需要的人。
OFFICIAL PRAYER OF THE 51ST INTERNATIONAL EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS
Lord Jesus Christ, our hope of glory, You are the fulfillment of the Father’s plan to save all humanity. You are the mystery hidden from the ages and from generations past now manifested to us. You abide in your Church in the most holy sacrament of the Eucharist. As we celebrate the Holy Eucharist and receive your Body and Blood, grant us the awareness that your presence in us urges us to continue your saving mission in the world. Send us your Holy Spirit that he may lead us to walk humbly with the poor and the marginalized, in the company of Mary, your most holy mother and ours.
O Lord in the Most Blessed Sacrament, to you be all honor and glory and praise in the unity of the Father and the Holy Spirit. One God, forever and ever.
Amen.
第51屆國際聖體大會 祈禱文
主耶穌基督，祢是我們光榮的希望，在祢內完成了天父拯救全人類的計劃，祢就是那從永遠以來秘而不宣，現今卻彰顯了的奧秘。 祢存留在祢的教會中、 在至聖聖體聖事內。
當我們舉行感恩聖祭、領受祢的體血時，求祢賜我們能體會到：祢臨在我們中，催迫著我們在世界裡延續祢的救贖使命。求祢派遣祢的聖神，讓祂引導我們謙虛的偕同瑪利亞－祢的和我們的至聖母親－與貧窮的、活在邊緣的人們同行。
吁，在至聖聖事內的主! 願一切崇敬、榮耀與讚頌歸於祢，唯一的天主及與祢同體的聖父及聖神，世世無窮！亞孟。
